CPA Support

Trust administration involves important tax and accounting considerations. As trusts continue to play an increasingly important role in sophisticated wealth planning, effective communication between trustees and a client’s CPA is essential to long-term success.

Bridgeford Trust Company works collaboratively with CPAs by providing independent fiduciary administration while supporting the ongoing tax reporting and accounting responsibilities associated with trust administration. Because Bridgeford does not provide tax advice, we work alongside a client’s CPA to help ensure accurate reporting, timely communication, and efficient administration.

Our Collaborative Approach

Bridgeford recognizes the important role CPAs play in helping clients navigate the tax implications of trust planning. Throughout the administration process, we work closely with tax professionals by providing trust accounting information, coordinating fiduciary tax reporting, and communicating on matters that may affect trust administration, tax reporting, or beneficiary distributions.

Our objective is to support—not replace—the client’s existing advisory team, allowing each professional to contribute their expertise while working together in the client’s best interest.

In addition, Bridgeford provides Host Company Services for public and private trust companies with their own licenses, including trust administration and back-office support, whether established by a client or an accounting firm. Bridgeford also offers White Label/Private Label Trust Services for accounting firms.
