Carrie Kern is a Controller at Bridgeford Trust Company and is responsible for internal and external financial, tax, and regulatory reporting. In her role, Carrie establishes and maintains effective accounting policies, systems, and internal controls. She also oversees AR, AP and payroll, reconciles financial accounts, and assists with the company’s employment benefits.

With 25 years of accounting and controller experience, Carrie primarily worked in the manufacturing industry before joining Bridgeford Trust Company. She brings a wealth of financial and accounting knowledge and experience to the team. Prior to moving to South Dakota, Carrie was an avid supporter of Buddy Backpacks through the United Way of NE Minnesota, and she enjoys finding new organizations to stay active with in her community today.

Carrie earned an Associate’s Degree in Accounting from St. Cloud Technical College in Minnesota.
