Chris Halverson is a Senior Trust Officer at Bridgeford Trust Company and administers trusts with full discretionary authority. With seven years’ experience in the trust industry, he has worked with various trust structures and assists clients and their advisors with South Dakota’s progressive modern trust laws.

Prior to joining Bridgeford Trust Company, Chris worked at First Dakota National Bank assisting clients with directed trusts and estate planning and business transitions as well as general trust and account administration. He also handled directed and fully discretionary accounts and policy and legal review in his position. Active in the community, Chris serves on the Board of Directors for Make-a-Wish South Dakota and Montana.

Chris earned a Bachelor of History and Political Science Degree from the University of South Dakota (USD) and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of South Dakota School of Law. He also holds the Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA™) designation from the American Bankers Association.
