Tom Hart is Vice President and Senior Trust Officer at Bridgeford Trust Company, where he works closely with multigenerational families and their attorneys, CPAs, and financial advisors on a variety of trust administration and planning matters. His experience includes working extensively with Directed Trusts and Domestic Asset Protection Trusts to help families and their advisors implement sophisticated planning objectives.

With more than 15 years of experience across estate planning law, trust administration, and financial services, Tom brings a unique perspective shaped by his work across multiple sides of the industry, including private legal practice, hedge fund trading, regulation, and trust administration.

Professional Experience

Prior to joining Bridgeford Trust Company, Tom served as General Counsel for the State of South Dakota, where he worked closely with the South Dakota Division of Banking. He also practiced law privately and worked as a trader for a hedge fund, providing him with experience spanning legal, regulatory, investment, and financial services matters.

Community Involvement

Tom serves on the Boards of Directors of The Capital City Campus and the Pierre Area Foundation.
